ELHO's story began in 1968 when Arne Löfvik, the company's founder, started manufacturing remote control devices in Finland (EU) for forage harvesters as a side project alongside his main work selling agricultural machinery. Recognizing the growing demand for advanced farming equipment, Arne soon expanded into importing machinery from Denmark and eventually began producing his own innovative designs under the ELHO brand.

Over the decades, ELHO has evolved into an international export company, with products shipped to more than 40 countries around the world—from North America to Asia. Despite this global growth, the company remains proudly owned by the founding Löfvik family, ensuring a steadfast commitment to quality and innovation.

Prioritizing Growers in North America

In 2023, ELHO established its North American division, ELHO America, to better serve the unique needs of farmers and growers across the continent. Headquartered in Glenview, Illinois, our state-of-the-art facility serves as a central hub for sales, service, and support, working closely with a network of authorized dealers.
